Remember the series of rain storms we had back in early June? What might have seemed like an endless few days of gloom to New Yorkers meant real flooding damage at one of our Books for Kids libraries in the Cypress Hills neighborhood of Brooklyn. For those of you not in the New York Metro area, May and June 2013 brought numerous flash floods and record amounts of rainfall to our area.
